Dear Mr. Coons:
This responds to your letter of October 1, 1975, regarding registration with this Department as a qualified corrosion control engineer.
The safety regulations applicable to gas pipelines (49 CFR Part 192) and liquid pipelines (49 CFR Part 195) do not require that corrosion control procedures be conducted by persons registered with this Department.
